Accurate measurements are the foundation of a secure, comfortable fit. Have your dog stand naturally on a level, non-slip floor and use a flexible cloth tape.
Before you start
- Measure the affected rear leg.
- Keep the tape snug without compressing fur or skin.
- Record every value in inches to the nearest 1/8 inch.
- Take each measurement twice.
- Ask another person to help keep your dog standing naturally.
The seven measurements
Follow the A–G points shown in the K9BracePro guide. Do not estimate from breed or body weight. Weight determines price; the A–G measurements determine the custom build.
