Why Custom Fit Matters

A dog’s weight does not tell us where the knee sits, how long the lower leg is, or how the limb carries load. That is why a custom brace begins with the individual dog—not a standard size chart.

Every leg is different

Breed, body shape, leg length, circumference and joint position all affect how a brace sits and moves. Two dogs at the same weight can require very different shell geometry and hinge placement.

What the custom process considers

  • Seven individual leg measurements
  • Standing side photos with the full rear leg visible
  • Affected-leg confirmation
  • Joint and hinge alignment
  • Strap position and contact areas

Fit is a process, not a dropdown

The order starts with a weight tier and color. After checkout, your Fit Coordinator confirms the affected leg, requests the required photos and guides each measurement before production begins.
